Christmas is absolutely one of the most popular and well-celebrated holidays in the United States. Santa Claus, Christmas trees, decorations, and presents spark thoughts of Christmas, but the food we eat during this time of year is definitely a highlight we treasure as well. Make sure to only eat the treats at special get-togethers or parties, and during “downtime”, eat healthy like you normally do. This can really help prevent gaining weight during this tempting time. Rich foods are hard to resist and fun to eat, but just be sure to only eat what you can handle and avoid overstuffing yourself.
